WWE WrestleMania 29 2013

WrestleMania 29 will be the 29th annual WrestleMania professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by World Wrestling Entertainment, and will be held on April 7, 2013 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. It is expected to draw approximately 90,000 fans.[3]

The event will be the fifth WrestleMania in the New York metropolitan area following WrestleMania I, X, and XX having been held at Madison Square Garden while a portion of WrestleMania 2 was held at Nassau Coliseum. It will be the third WrestleMania held in the state of New Jersey after WrestleMania IV and V, both of which were held at Trump Plaza/Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City.[4]
WrestleMania 29 will feature professional wrestling matches involving different wrestlers from pre-existing scripted feuds, plots, and storylines that play out on WWE's television programs. Wrestlers portray heels or faces as they follow a series of events that build tension and culminate in a wrestling match or series of matches.[5]

Well, April is coming soon and very soon! It means . . .it is that time of the year for wrestling entertainment (and maybe for the boys as well). The truth is, wrestling isn’t only for boys? Duh~ I’m a girl and I’m a big fan of wrestling entertainment(s). So, let’s get along with it, shall we?

The month of April means . . . it’s the season of Wrestlemania, where you can see posters of upcoming matches on buildings and even vehicles on the road, match cards on sale at Seven Eleven or any other shop outlets, wrestling T-shirts and many more. Believe me, I’ve been collecting savings to get all of those in hands but, there’s one thing I feel right now is impossible to make it a dream come true. A trip to Wrestlemania and watch all of those matches live. Well, it’s okay for me because there is still many more Wrestlemania’s to come.

Of all Wrestlemania seasons, this year’s will be epic. All of
the matches provided had got me excited. Though the matches
provided are epic, let’s hope the results will be epic as well. Last year was a big disappointment for me. Remember John Cena vs The Rock? I predicted that John Cena will win the match.

Unfortunately, it was a big lost. Not only that he lost, I lost a RM 50 bet with my brother. It was horrendous and a big
disappointment for me! Boo~ Hoo~

So yeah, not just hope that the matches are epic, the results will be epic as well. Sometimes, epic matches bring disappointment . . . *sigh*

So, here are the Wrestlemania matches for this year.Hopefully, my predictions this year will be the right one! Oh . . . no more betting money with my brother, never again, ever! >.<”

WWE Championship Match "Greatness vs Redemption" The Rock vs John Cena

WrestleMania 29 will feature professional wrestling matches involving different wrestlers from pre-existing scripted feuds, plots, and storylines that play out on WWE's television programs. Wrestlers portray heels or faces as they follow a series of events that build tension and culminate in a wrestling match or series of matches.[5]

AGAIN?! I thought last time was a ONCE IN A LIFETIME

MATCH, but now it is called a TWICE IN A LIFETIME MATCH! Now you ask me, should I be happy about it? Well, if the WWE Championship is on the line, then why not? It’s not that easy people get second chances. John Cena had to go through several circumstances and he had made it this far to be The Rock’s #1 Contender for a rematch against The Rock and the WWE Championship. Well, this epic match-up is revenue for me to gain back the liabilities I had with my brother last year. Hands down, RM 50 on the line with my brother again, John Cena will win this match!

21-0 /20-1 Streak vs 434 Days Reigning Champion =The Undertaker vs CM Punk

On the March 4 episode of Raw, which celebrated "Old School Raw", The Undertaker made his return to WWE by opening up the show, signaling any challenger to face him and try to end his undefeated WrestleMania streak at the event. CM Punk, Randy Orton, Big Show, and Sheamus all declared they wanted to face The Undertaker, prompting Raw's Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero to set a Fatal Four-Way match among the four later that night. CM Punk would go on to win the match by pinning Orton, earning him the match against The Undertaker. The next week on Raw, Punk interrupted Paul Bearer's tribute segment to boast about how he was going to break Undertaker's streak, which prompted Undertaker's brother Kane to attack Punk, although Punk escaped. Later that night, Kane defeated Punk in a No Disqualification Match, before Undertaker came to the stage to perform his signature taunt with Kane to honour Bearer. Punk interrupted this by hitting Kane with The Undertaker's urn, which prompted Undertaker to chase him away, and Punk escaped with the urn. On the March 18 episode of Raw, The Undertaker came to the ring to tell Punk he had one chance to return Undertaker's property, but was interrupted by Punk on the TitanTron, who further boasted about being the one to "snap the streak" while nonchalantly tossing the urn in the air.
After going through The Undertaker’s past Wrestlemania matches, now that I realized that The Undertaker have found someone who is daring enough to face him to end his own streak. Curious though, I wonder why The Undertaker’s previous Wrestlemania opponents feels intimidated with The Undertaker but CM Punk does not feel that way. Can’t say he’s a dumb-ass rookie what-so-ever since he decided to make a history of his own, not only as the longest reigning champion, but also ending The Undertaker’s streak 20-1. I’ll place my bet on the table that The Undertaker will win this match and maintain his streak of 21-0.

No Holds Barred Match Brock Lesnar vs Triple H

On the February 25, 2013 episode of Raw, Triple H returned, brawling with a returning Brock Lesnar, who was about to attack Vince McMahon for a second time. During the brawl, Lesnar's head was busted open and required 18 stitches. The following week on Raw, Triple H set out a challenge to Lesnar at WrestleMania. On the March 11 episode of Raw, after Lesnar attacked Triple H's former D-Generation X members, the New Age Outlaws, Lesnar's manager, Paul Heyman, said that Lesnar would accept Triple H's challenge, but they would get to add the stipulations and would reveal them after Triple H signed the contract. Triple H accepted the match, after which Heyman revealed that the bout would be No Holds Barred and that if Triple H loses, he must retire from WWE.

Of all the Wrestlemania 29 matches, this match is the hardest to
predict, especially with Triple H wrestling career on the line. After going through the previous Wrestlemania’s, I realized that one-by-one of Triple H’s closest friends places their bet on their Wrestlemania matches in which they have lost and have to immediately retire from wrestling entertainment. But, must Triple H have to retire as well? So that he could join the retired group of Ric Flair and Shawn Michaels? Surviving without D Generation X have been boring, what some more if Triple H retires? Will there still be entertainment? So, I’ll place my bet that Triple H will win this match no matter what.

World Heavyweight Championship Match Alberto Del Rio vs Jack Swagger

Also at Elimination Chamber, World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio successfully retained his championship against Big Show. Returning superstars Jack Swagger, Chris Jericho, and Mark Henry earned spots in the six-man Elimination Chamber match, along with Daniel Bryan, Kane, and Randy Orton. Swagger won the event to become the number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship, and will challenge Del Rio for the title at WrestleMania.
Okay, piece of cake. I guess the WWE Universe notices that

Alberto Del Rio is now well known for winning matches in unique epic actions (like pushing the commentators table on the Big Show to get a count-out, using the duct tape to tie up the Big Show in the ring and throwing water or paint on the Big Show for the win). So, I’ll be expecting Alberto Del Rio’s next plan on performing epic actions on Wrestlemania 29.

Battle of the Behemoths Ryback vs Mark Henry

It’s been quite a while Ryback’s being asked to feed him more
“Feed Me More” but he still never gets his stomach full. I hope that Ryback will get his stomach full after having a meatier opponent, Mark Henry.

Six-man Tag Team Match The Shield vs Sheamus, Big Show
and Randy Orton

On the March 15 episode of SmackDown, The Shield challenged Randy Orton and Sheamus to a 6-man tag team match at WrestleMania 29. Orton and Sheamus accepted, then recruited Ryback as their third man. Later that night, The Shield interfered in Ryback's match with Mark Henry and delivered a triple powerbomb to Ryback before he was given three World's Strongest Slams by Henry. The following Monday on Raw, Vickie Guerrero pulled Ryback from the 6-man tag team match and put him in a singles match with Henry. After winning a match on the March 18 episode of Raw, Sheamus and Orton were about to be assaulted by The Shield, but then Big Show - who had also been brutalized by The Shield - stepped into the ring, causing The Shield to retreat, and on SmackDown that week, Sheamus, Orton and Big Show were teamed together by Booker T to test their teamwork in a six-man tag match against 3MB, in which they were victorious. Following the match, The Shield came to the ring to confront the victors before retreating once again.

It’s been a while The Shield has been winning matches. I’m still
hoping, there will be somebody or someone that will put them to justice but it just takes the right one. Since, there’s the Big Show, I’m sure The Shield have something to be intimidated about.

WWE Tag Team Championship Match Team Hell No vs Dolph
Ziggler and Big E Langston

Also on the March 18 episode of Raw, Dolph Ziggler won a match against Kofi Kingston with outside help from Big E Langston. This caused Team Hell No, who both had been attacked by Langston during past matches with Ziggler, to challenge them at WrestleMania. Ziggler's girlfriend, AJ Lee, said they would accept the match only if Team Hell No put their WWE Tag Team Championship on the line, to which they agreed.
Minor matches like this, I have nothing much to say. I’ll just close my eyes and place my bet and say, Team Hell No will win the match and retain the WWE Tag Team Championship Title without any further distraction from the crazy chick at the ring side.

Wait a minute! Why isn’t there any Divas Championship Match? I want to see Kaitlyn hustle! I guess, I’ll still have to wait for it. . .

Tickets went on sale on November 10, 2012, during which WWE set a first-day sales record of 52,029 tickets, beating the WrestleMania X8 record of 51,620 tickets. Partly due to increased ticket prices, WWE also set a first-day revenue record of more than $10 million, which topped WrestleMania XXVIII's previous record of $6.3 million.
For the first time, WrestleMania 29 will be streamed on mobile devices via the WWE app and on Xbox Live.
